Furl is a Social Bookmarking Site that allows you to save, share and explore your favorite Web pages.

Furl is a free service that saves the important items you find on the Web and enables you to quickly find them again. Furl archives a personal copy of every page you save. When you want to recall it, you can find it instantly by searching the full text your archived items. Each member has a personal archive of 5 gigabytes (GB), large enough to store tens of thousands of searchable items.

Furl recommends new Web pages that may interest you, guided by the sites you’ve already “Furled,” or saved.

Furl also offers the best ways to share the content you find on the Web. Send a daily email newsletter of links to friends and colleagues, use Furl to generate RSS feeds for your links, or integrate them quickly and easily into an existing Web site.

Alex Albrecht

 born in VA, 1976

Alex has participated in the entertainment industry for six years. He founded and directed the popular, Los Angeles-based improv comedy troupe, The Misfit Toys. The group was featured in Stuff Magazine and on MTV. Alex subsequently appeared in a number of national television commercials for companies such as Volkswagen, Dominos and Dell. After a chance meeting with a TechTV producer at a wedding, Alex landed the co-hosting role on TechTV’s The Screen Savers. It was at TechTV that he met Kevin Rose, and one of the most successful Internet television partnerships was born. In 2004, Kevin and Alex decided to create a weekly podcast called Diggnation. The popular Revision3 show consistently ranks as one of the top podcast downloads available from the Apple iTunes Music Store.

In addition to Diggnation, Alex has teamed up with his two buds Dan and Jeff to create the raddest show on the net, The Totally Rad Show. TRS is an eccentric mix of movie quotes and radness.

Kevin Rose

  born in CA, 1977 

Kevin Rose is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Digg, Revision3, and Pownce. Rose also co-hosts Diggnation, a popular weekly podcast. Rose first became well known through his position as co-host of The Screen Savers, a TechTV show.

As the founder and chief architect of Digg,  he oversees all aspects of the management and development of the Web site. Kevin started Digg in September 2004 as a personal project. His initial idea was to conduct a social experiment in how masses of users could control and promote news and other content on the Web, without external editorial control. After a very short time, he realized the power of his idea, as Digg was becoming a resource for breaking news stories and developed a strong community following. Kevin is also a co-founder of the Internet Television Network Revision3 where as a member of the board he provides strategic direction to the company. Kevin co-hosts the extremely popular Revision3 show, Diggnation, a weekly video podcast based on digg.com news stories and content. Diggnation consistently ranks as one of the top podcast downloads from the Apple iTunes Music Store.

Prior to founding Digg and Revision3, Kevin was a co-host of the popular technology television programs Attack of the Show on the G4 Network and The Screen Savers on TechTV. During Kevin’s tenure at The Screen Savers, a live TV program focusing on computers and technology, it was the highest rated show on TechTV, reaching 55 million households. Before working at TechTV, Kevin worked for several technology startups as well as for the U.S. Department of Energy.

Diggnation is a weekly tech/web culture show based on the top digg.com social bookmarking news stories.

It is a weekly video podcast produced by Revision3, hosted by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. Its main purpose is to discuss the top stories from Digg, the social bookmarking website developed by Rose and others. The format of the show usually involves Rose and Albrecht reviewing one or more brands of beer at the opening of the show, of which they will consume throughout the show, followed by them discussing various Digg stories from the previous week. Both audio and video versions of the podcast are available.  It consistently ranks as one of the top podcast downloads available from the Apple iTunes Music Store.
